KazakhExport took part in the strategic session of the National ESG Club
Deputy Chairman of the Board of KazakhExport Ayan Bektybayeva took part in the strategic session of the National ESG Club. Among the participants are representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, invited companies, as well as members of the ESG Club.
During the meeting, the main aspects of the ESG agenda in Kazakhstan were discussed – the need for transformation and measures to promote ESG principles, contribution to the implementation of the country's ESG agenda, as well as barriers were identified and opportunities were considered when promoting ESG principles in the country.
Recall that the national ESG Club unites 58 companies that are leaders of ESG transformation in their industries. The main goals of the Club's creation are to promote accelerated energy transition in Kazakhstan through the introduction of ESG principles in the work of companies, exchange of experience and best practices, as well as develop recommendations for promoting the principles of sustainable development at the state level.
