KazakhExport and Euler Hermes started cooperation
The KazakhExport National Export Insurance Company and the Euler Hermes Export Credit Insurance World Leader signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The Parties intend to create a framework for cooperation to support and encourage trade between Kazakhstan and Germany, as well as deepen bilateral relations through the exchange of best practices, information on regions and sectors of interest, underwriting practices and cooperation in the field of export financing.
“We are glad to strengthen cooperation with our partners from Germany. The signed Memorandum will promote expanding business contacts, which will benefit both the Kazakh and German economies. We also see great potential in creating advanced export-oriented production in Kazakhstan thanks to the import of technology and competencies from Germany using the Euler Hermes’s best practices,” said Kuanysh Mukazhanov the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the KazakhExport.
- Mukazhanov also noted that today the KazakhExport’s portfolio includes cases of supported Kazakh exports to Germany and expressed hope that after the signing of the Memorandum, there will be many more such projects.
In turn, Felix Brucher, Director of International Business Development of the Euler Hermes noted: “We are very pleased to continue cooperation with the KazakhExport in terms of supporting Exporters from Germany and Kazakhstan using best practices.”
As part of the event, the KazakhExport and the Euler Hermes delegations also held a number of bilateral meetings in b2b format. It should be noted that the signing ceremony took place at the “25th Day of the German Economy in Kazakhstan” Conference organized by the representative office of the German economy in Central Asia together with the Union of German Economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Supported enterprises operate in such important sectors of the economy as: food and chemical industries, mechanical engineering, agriculture, metallurgy and others. The list of export destinations includes the following: Uzbekistan, Russia, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus, Italy, Turkey, Germany, etc.
