ECA Participated in an International Investment Forum in Tajikistan
The Regional Office of JSC "Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan" in the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the "Khatlon Invest - 2026" International Investment Forum held in Bokhtar.
This major business event convened over 300 foreign investors, entrepreneurs, and delegates from international financial institutions representing more than 30 countries. The key objective of the forum was to foster trade and economic cooperation, attract foreign direct investment, and strengthen integration ties within the Central Asian region.
As part of the business program, participants discussed business digitalization, public-private partnerships, logistics, and the integration of value-added chains in the agro-industrial complex. The forum continued with specialized sessions dedicated to industrial modernization, agricultural processing, and the manufacturing of export-oriented goods.
During the forum, representatives of the ECA Regional Office held a series of working meetings with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Khatlon Region and local business representatives. The parties reviewed promising avenues for bilateral cooperation, financial and insurance support instruments for Kazakhstani exporters, and mechanisms to promote domestic products in the Tajik market.
The "Khatlon Invest - 2026" forum reconfirmed the strong interest of the international community in stepping up trade and economic cooperation and creating new investment opportunities. Participation in the event enabled ECA to establish a direct dialogue with foreign partners, expand the geographic coverage of Kazakhstani supplies, and bolster the country's non-resource export potential.
