Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan Presented Financial and Insurance Instruments at the "Dushanbe Invest" Forum
Representatives of the Regional Director's Office of JSC "Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan" (ECA) in the Republic of Tajikistan participated in the "Dushanbe Invest 2026" International Investment Forum, held on October 14–15 in the capital of Tajikistan.
This year, the international convention event was timed to coincide with Tajikistan’s Entrepreneur Day and convened key stakeholders from Central Asia's business and financial sectors.
On the first day of the forum, a plenary meeting was held between the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and representatives of domestic and foreign businesses, investors, and heads of development institutions. During the discussion, strategic issues concerning the improvement of the investment climate, systemic support for the private sector, and promising avenues for expanding international economic cooperation were reviewed.
On October 15, the business program continued with the G10 Insight Forum 2026 International Investment Forum — a key dialogue platform for attracting capital, developing entrepreneurship, and establishing direct public-private partnerships.
Within the framework of the forum, the ECA delegation took part in thematic roundtables with leaders from the banking, insurance, and financial sectors, and conducted a series of bilateral B2B meetings.
During the talks, ECA’s institutional financial and insurance instruments were presented to foreign partners and potential importers of Kazakhstani goods. Interested parties received detailed information on mechanisms for concessional financing of foreign trade operations, instruments for covering commercial and political risks, and conditions for expanding deliveries of Kazakhstani manufactured goods to the Tajik market.
ECA’s participation in the forum significantly expanded its pool of potential partners, consolidated agreements with development institutions, and laid the groundwork for further deepening trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
