ECA employees participate in "Run for Autism" charity race

Astana recently hosted the annual Run for Autism charity race, held in observance of World Autism Month. Employees of Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan JSC (ECA) joined the large-scale sporting event dedicated to supporting children with special needs.

Now in its fourth consecutive year, this marathon has become a significant tradition for the capital. The primary goal of the initiative is to raise funds for the development of inclusive education and to raise public awareness regarding the adaptation of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This year, approximately 5,000 participants competed across four distances: 1 km, 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km.

The participation of the ECA team is an integral part of the Agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. Representing the team, Fariza Issanova emphasized the importance of creating an accessible environment:

"For our team, participating in Run for Autism is, first and foremost, an act of solidarity. Autism is a developmental feature that requires empathy and the creation of inclusive conditions from society. Participating in such races allows us to make a practical contribution to supporting children with ASD and serves as a reminder of the importance of social acceptance for every citizen. We encourage our colleagues and partners to support such initiatives more frequently, as they foster unity and mutual assistance in our society."

All funds raised during the marathon are directed toward the implementation of inclusive programs and the technical equipment of specialized centers.

The Agency remains committed to supporting socially significant projects aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens and promoting the principles of an inclusive society.
