Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan Introduces Advanced Standards in Accounts Receivable Insurance
The Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan (ECA, the Agency) took part in the annual Spring Meeting of the International Credit Insurance & Surety Association (ICISA), held in Barcelona from April 20 to 23.
ICISA brings together the world’s leading export credit agencies, insurance and reinsurance companies, serving as a key international platform for developing industry standards and discussing current trends in the global market.
As part of the event, representatives of ECA Kazakhstan participated in specialized sessions and working discussions with heads of leading export credit agencies and international reinsurance groups. Particular attention from the Kazakh side was focused on the development of short-term accounts receivable insurance products and guarantee support instruments. Participation in such discussions enables the Agency to take into account best international practices and contributes to the further enhancement of its product offering to support national exporters.
“For us, this is not merely an exchange of experience, but an opportunity to introduce in Kazakhstan the very instruments that are already successfully operating in global markets. We are adapting the best international solutions to the needs of our entrepreneurs so that Kazakh exporters can feel confident and protected when entering into contracts anywhere in the world,” the Agency noted.
Integration into the ICISA professional community confirms ECA Kazakhstan’s commitment to developing modern mechanisms for protecting non-resource exports and strengthening the country’s position in international markets.
