On May 21-22, 2014, JSC National Export and Investment Agency KAZNEX INVEST of the Ministry of Industry and New technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan carries out trade mission in the Russian Federation, Omsk, within the framework of the promotion of Kazakh goods and services to foreign markets.
The event was supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Omsk. Such a meeting of businessmen of Kazakhstan and Russian region is held the second year in a row.
Kazakh enterprises producing construction materials, food stuffs, agricultural products, petrochemical and engineering equipment, paper and textile products will hold talks with potential buyers on the possible supply of goods in the Omsk region.
This year «KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock company and the National Agency KAZNEX INVEST plan to actively promote Kazakhstani processed products in the regions of Russia such as Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Samara, Orenburg, and Yekaterinburg.
At the end of 2013, foreign trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Russia amounted to 23.5 billion USD, which is by 1.7% more than in 2012. Kazakhstan is ranked 42 in the list of the world exporters, and the geography of export includes 119 countries. The Republic holds a leading position in the world in the export of uranium, ferroalloys, flour, wheat, and oil.
