Senior executives of «KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock company, the subsidiary of the Holding Company “Baiterek” take part in the work of VII Astana Economic Forum
The VII Astana Economic Forum, which began its work on May 21, is a global dialogue platform for the leading experts from 150 countries around the world.
Today, on May 22, the session on the role of the Holding Company “Baiterek” in the second five-year of the industrial-innovative development is held within the framework of the international event. Among the speakers: heads of governmental authorities, representatives of the Kazakh-British Trade and Industry Council, the International Finance Company, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, and other leading development institutions.
According to Aset Issekeshev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Minister of Industry and New Technologies, during the second five-year “Baiterek” should be the integrator of financial resources of the state and the private sector. As was pointed out by the Deputy Head of the Holding Company, Alina Aldambergen, the group of companies will offer various financing mechanisms, including direct and interbank lending, grants, subsidies, processed exports support instruments, equity financing, etc.
It was also noted that to implement the Concept of becoming one of the 30 most developed countries in the world and the effective implementation of the industrial program as related to the support of export of Kazakhstani products, the National Export Strategy until 2020 is being developed in line with the international practices of export promotion, the main objectives of which will include the formation of export basket, identification of markets for sales of products, as well as the establishment of an infrastructure to support exports.
