Kostanay businessmen suggest that Exporter 2020 Program be improved
Kostanay businessmen suggested that the mechanisms of support under the “Exporter 2020”. State Program should be improved. The suggestions were voiced in the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the region, within the framework of the presentation meeting with «KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock companyExport insurance company, reported BNews.kz correspondent.
One of the most effective mechanisms to minimize the risks in export transactions is insuring the supplier’s trade credits. This provides for avoiding losses in the case where the performance of contractual obligations does not depend on the foreign counterparty. It is an effective tool for the strategy of “secure advent” into new markets”, – said Dmitriy Machel, Press Secretary for the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kostanai Oblast.
However, under the current rules, they have no possibility of insuring in situations where goods are intended for individual entrepreneurs, but not for LLP. Whereas financial turnovers of IE in terms of their volumes may be quite close to those of medium-sized businesses.
If we talk about paying insurance, one has to wait for it for a long time – up to four months. And this means the withdrawal of money from circulation. The operator of the program is represented only in Almaty, and is not represented in the regions. Maybe it makes sense to create a kind of web service to apply for participation in the program in electronic format. It will be convenient” – suggested Eugene Konrath, a Bayan Sulu JSC representative.
In addition, the businessmen suggested the option to provide VAT refund insurance in transactions with residents of the Russian Federation, as well as cases of sharp foreign currency fluctuations, entailing financial losses.
