Stands with Kazakh products will appear in supermarkets in China
«KazakhExport» National Export Insurance Company and «Wuhan Hanou» International Logistics Company (Wuhan Asia Europe Logistics Co.) signed a memorandum of cooperation. The ceremony took place during the trade and economic mission of Kazakhstan, held in Xi'an (China).
The parties agreed to jointly organize events to promote Kazakh products to the Chinese market.
"The strategic document is aimed at improving the efficiency of joint work between companies of Kazakhstan and China, developing close commercial relations and increasing the volume of non-primary exports of finished Kazakh products to China", - the regional director of Kazakh Export to China Sergey Salmanov said.
According to the memorandum, "Wuhan Hanou" will import Kazakhstani products and sell them in the retail chains of Hubei Province and China, through thematic departments, with the installation of specialized stands in the Kazakh national style. In addition, the company will provide support in promoting KazakhExport's products and capabilities in the country.
In turn, KazakhExport will assist in establishing contacts with domestic manufacturers and finding products of interest to importers. The national company will also provide the necessary insurance and financing for Kazakhstani exporters.
At the end of the signing, the parties expressed confidence that Kazakhstani goods will be in high demand among local consumers. To date, an agreement has already been reached on the supply of fat and oil products, food, pasta, confectionery, beverages and other goods to China.
It should be noted that the amount of export contracts implemented with the insurance support of KazakhExport has amounted to 53 billion tenge since the beginning of 2023, 17 contracts have been concluded with 11 importers for the supply of flour and sunflower kernels to China.
In total, since 2019, the volume of KazakhExport support for domestic manufacturers exporting to China has amounted to over 478 million tenge. With the insurance support of KazakhExport, Kazakh exporters supply fat and oil products, flour, juices, beverages, cattle meat and much more to the local market.
It should be noted that "Wuhan Hanou" is the state railway cargo platform of the People's Republic of China for international block trains "Han Xin Ou". The company has modern department stores, shopping malls, supermarkets in dozens of cities in Hubei Province, has its own transport logistics on the import route to China and a wide distribution network. The company is subsidized by the Wuhan government and is a participant in the "One Belt, One Road" policy.
Recall that in 2019, within the framework of cooperation between KazakhExport and Wuhan Asia Europe Logistics Co, the first thematic department was opened in Wuhan, decorated in the Kazakh national style. However, cooperation was suspended due to the pandemic.
