Kazakhstan, with the support of “KazakhExport” JSC, exported the “Sergek” system to Uzbekistan

The intelligent system of public and road safety "Sergek" has been implemented in the city of Namangan, Republic of Uzbekistan. This is the second most populous city in the country after Tashkent, the administrative center of Namangan province.

Intelligent system of public and road safety "Sergek" is a product of Kazakh developers, a group of companies SergekGroup, combining software and hardware specialists.

The project was implemented at the expense of private investment, with the subsidization of the state export program, in particular with the help of "KazakhExport" Export Insurance Company” JSC, a support tool - export credit insurance.

The work of "Sergek" in Namangan is aimed at reducing traffic accidents and improving driving culture. The intelligent system has been certified according to the legislation of Uzbekistan. 25 hardware-software complexes record traffic violations on 13 sections of the city and districts of the region.  Both in the cities of Kazakhstan and in Namangan, the system registers speeding, driving at a forbidden traffic light, violation of road markings.

The business project was launched with the support of the RK Ministry of Trade and Integration and the RK Ministry of Digital Development and Aerospace Industry.

Currently, the system of public and road safety "Sergek" operates in 8 cities of Kazakhstan: Astana, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Almaty, Atyrau, Shymkent, Semey, Taraz and Turkestan. In addition, SergekGroup is developing an export strategy to promote products for export. The nearest goal is the markets of Central and South-East Asia, as well as the Middle East and Africa.

The installation of the "Sergek" system has had an impact on improving driving discipline and a corresponding decrease in fatal accidents. During the first year of operation of the system, the number of deaths in traffic accidents in Astana decreased by 43% - from 60 deaths to 34, and has remained at the same level in all subsequent years. In Almaty (2019-2022) - from 161 to 96. In Shymkent (2020-2022) - from 76 to 57. With the help of the system it is also possible to solve criminal offenses.
