Tashkent Metallurgical Plant Expresses Readiness to Purchase Kazakhstani Products with ECA Support
JSC "Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan" (ECA) participated in the business program of the 20th anniversary international exhibition "Mining, Metallurgy and Metalworking – MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2026" in Tashkent.
MiningMetals Uzbekistan 2026 is the region's leading industry platform, uniting over 4,000 specialists and 163 companies from 19 countries. Within the exposition, leading enterprises from the mining, metallurgical, and metalworking sectors presented advanced equipment, innovative technological solutions, and promising developments.
Kazakhstani business at the exhibition was represented by a pool of dynamically developing companies, including "ConBelt" LLP, "KazProektSoft" LLP, "Norservice Kazakhstan" LLP, and "Korus Tex Asia" LLP. The participation of domestic enterprises was aimed at strengthening their positions and expanding their presence in the promising market of Uzbekistan.
As part of the business program, Alisher Khakimov, ECA’s Regional Director in the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a series of B2B meetings with representatives of Kazakhstani exporters and potential Uzbekistani importers.
Foreign partners were presented with the Agency's full portfolio of financial and insurance instruments designed to stimulate demand for Kazakhstani products. Trade financing mechanisms, which enable foreign buyers to secure accessible working capital for purchasing goods from Kazakhstan on favorable terms, were highlighted separately.
The key highlight of the meetings was the negotiations with the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant. As a result, the management of the enterprise expressed tangible interest in using ECA's instruments to finance and contract purchases of Kazakhstani products.
