Ramesh Khudoyev, Regional Director of the Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan (ECA), presented advanced export support instruments at the “Orien Business” forum, highlighting the special role of long-standing cooperation with OJSC Orienbank in the development of cross-border trade.
The “Orien Business” forum became a landmark platform for discussing the future of Tajikistan’s financial sector. During the event, the bank unveiled its updated ecosystem focused on digital transformation and sustainable development (ESG). Particular attention was given to expanding international cooperation and enhancing trade finance instruments.
As part of the panel discussion, Ramesh Khudoyev, Regional Director of ECA Kazakhstan, presented the agency’s financial and insurance products aimed at minimizing risks and stimulating trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Promising areas of cooperation were outlined, including support for joint projects in the real sector of the economy and the use of trade finance instruments to facilitate businesses’ access to foreign markets.
“Orienbank is our long-standing and reliable partner in the region. Over the years of cooperation, the total volume of joint transactions has reached USD 17.6 million. Today’s forum confirms the bank’s commitment not only to preserving traditions, but also to implementing innovative standards. The instruments of our agency, combined with the new ‘Orien Business’ strategy, create unique opportunities for entrepreneurs in both countries, providing them with the necessary protection and financial support to reach a fundamentally new level,” noted Ramesh Khudoyev.
The participation of major international institutions, including ECA Kazakhstan, reaffirmed Orienbank’s status as a strategic hub for the development of foreign economic relations. The parties also confirmed their intention to continue working on the creation of an effective infrastructure for green financing and support of export-import operations.
