Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan Participated in Citywide Cleanup Day
JSC "Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan" (ECA) took part in a cleanup event held as part of the nationwide environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" ("Clean Kazakhstan"), initiated by the Head of State.
The citywide environmental month, conducted under the framework of "Taza Kazakhstan," is aimed at sanitary cleaning, landscaping, and greening of urban areas.
More than 110 ECA employees, led by Chairman of the Management Board Allen Chaizhunusov, participated in the cleanup. Together, they cleaned the area along the Nura-Yesil Canal and collected 120 bags of waste.
"Participating in the cleanup is not a one-time event but part of our overall strategy to foster a responsible attitude toward the environment. Our agency places great emphasis on environmental initiatives, promoting responsible behavior and consistently implementing ESG principles," said Nadira Abenova, ECA’s Sustainability Manager.
It is worth noting that since the launch of the "Taza Kazakhstan" initiative, more than 6 million people have taken part. In 2024 alone, around 1.6 million green plantings were made, over 5.8 million square meters of coastal areas were cleaned, and 1.1 million tons of waste were collected.
