KazakhExport explores opportunities for advancing trade and economic collaboration between Armenia and Kazakhstan

KazakhExport Export Insurance Company recently engaged in a business meeting alongside the Embassy of Armenia in Kazakhstan, focusing on enhancing bilateral trade and economic ties.

The meeting was attended by domestic business representatives, industry experts, and various self-regulatory organizations.

The participants emphasized the need to stimulate trade growth between the two nations, leveraging their considerable potential. Armenian Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Armen Gevondyan, underscored the significance of diversifying supply chains and providing robust information support to businesses. Highlighting the "Crossroads of the World" concept initiated by the Armenian Government, he presented key provisions aimed at facilitating such diversification.

Armana Bekbasova, Director of the Department of International Cooperation at KazakhExport, outlined several promising avenues for expanding collaboration, particularly in non-resource exports such as the food industry and services.

Additionally, Bekbasova proposed the potential subsidization of interest rates for financing through Kazakhstani banks and suggested leveraging KazakhExport insurance coverage to support Armenian companies in acquiring municipal equipment and other high-tech products from Kazakhstan.

Concluding the meeting, the parties committed to further deepen trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Armenia.
