The Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhenis Kasymbek, during the briefing on the results of the meeting of the government announced the companies that will work with investors in Kazakhstan and export domestic products, the correspondent of Today.kz reports.
"There are two companies, one is KazakhExport. The KazakhExport company will be established on its basis. Its purpose will be to promote exports, namely, providing insurance of export contracts, export stimulation, subsidizing interest rates for exporting products. The second company on the basis of KAZNEX INVEST is the existing company. It will be a single negotiator with all investors," Zhenis Kasymbek said.
At the same time, he specified that the two companies will be responsible for two different directions: KAZNEX INVEST will combine all the functions to attract investments, and KazakhExport will promote Kazakhstan`s products for export.
"The investor comes to you, and they meet them, until they complete the project they will support the deal. That is, documents, visa support, various packages and benefits; meaning they fully accompany the project from the beginning until its implementation." This is a normal practice. There are such companies in the world, like the agencies attracting investments. As of today KAZNEX INVEST has a lot of functions and they are blurred. It has export promotion functions. We give them to KazakhExport, which currently deals only with insurance. And now they will deal with all issues related to export support," Kasymbek added.
