Deliveries of Kazakhstan cars to Tajikistan have started with the assistance of KazakhExport
The Export Insurance Company “KazakhExport”, a subsidiary of the National Managing Holding Company “Baiterek”, has provided a financial and insurance support to Saryarka AutoProm Plant being a part of the Group of Companies referred to as AllurGroup.
Deliveries began with the primary consignment of 55 JAC S3 cars in the amount of about USD 600 ths. In total, 1000 JAC cars will be delivered under the Project. The total project cost is estimated at USD 10,5 mln.
“The export trade financing tool has allowed the domestic manufacturing plant to make a package proposal to the buyer: to supply cars on a beneficial financing basis while the plant itself is protected by the KazakhExport’s insurance against the risk of non-payment by a foreign buyer”, - the Chairman of the Management Board of the EIC “KazakhExport” JSC, Ruslan Iskakov explained.
According to the Chief Executive of KazakhExport, AllurGroup, with the assistance of the subsidiary of the Baiterek Holding Company and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Tajikistan, has entered into an agreement with the Holding Asia Group Tajikistan in April, under which Kazakhstan cars designed to update the taxi fleet of the capital of Tajikistan will be delivered to Dushanbe by the end of 2018. The Kostanay JACS3 crossover utility vehicles were preferred due to their high cross-country ability and price affordability.
The said cars are to be shipped from a temporary storage warehouse located on the premises of the plant in Kostanay by rail. The primary consignment of 5 wagons was shipped to the capital of Tajikistan on June 25.
