«KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock company participated in the meeting with Almaty City businessmen
January 30 in Almaty City Akimat with the support from Kaznex Invest National Agency for Export and Investment a meeting was held with the export-oriented companies of the region. The event was attended by about 50 companies, both existing and potential exporters.
At the meeting, «KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock companyrepresentatives told Almaty businessmen about the tools of export-credit support to exporters provided under the Second Five-year Industrial Program.
Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan, where on the scale of the entire Republic 46 percent of the wholesale trade, and 21 percent of external and 27 percent of retail trade turnover are provided. Several dozen companies are engaged in foreign trade; they sell their Kazakhstan products with «KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock companyfinancial and insurance support to foreign markets. According to Kaznex Invest, 204 companies of the city benefited from state support measures, thus, export contracts worth more than US$ 256.9 million were concluded.
As a rule, Almaty exports cars, oil and gas equipment, construction materials, paints, pharmaceuticals, medical products, textile products, and food – flour, macaroni products, soft drinks, and confectionery.
