The meeting was organized by the National Export and Investment Agency “KAZNEXINVEST” of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the order of the Head of state to establish an integrated and aggressive system for the promotion of exports of non-primary goods.
The particular relevance of the strategy development is associated with the need for timely response to the global economic and financial problems affecting both the global trade in general, and the foreign trade activity of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was attended by the First Vice-Minister of Industry and New Technologies RoK - Chairman of the working group A.P. Rau, Chairman of the Committee of Industry of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies RoK - Deputy Chairman B.A. Kasymbekov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC National Export and Investment Agency “KAZNEX INVEST” M.T. Maykenov, Vice Minister of Transport and Communications RoK A.G. Bekturov, Vice-Minister of Economy and Budget Planning RoK T.M. Zhaksylykov, Deputy Minister of Regional Development RoK S.M. Zhumangarin, Vice Minister of Agriculture M.Ye. Tolibayev, heads of national companies, representatives of business community, public associations, and others.
At the meeting, the structure, objectives and priority areas of the national export strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its role and importance were presented.
The issues of the development of the financial instruments market for domestic exporters, increasing the availability of transportation and logistics services, information support of export-oriented companies, and the international experience of the world’s leading economies were discussed.
