«KazakhExport», the subsidiary of the Holding Company “Baiterek”, participated in the work of the trade mission in the People’s Republic of China, Urumqi
Trade mission on July 10, 2014 in Urumqi, was traditionally held in the format of the business-forum and bilateral meetings. The products of more than 20 domestic enterprises of chemical, construction, textile and food industries have been demonstrated to the Chinese buyers.
The event, which was organized by the National Export and Investment Agency “Kaznex Invest” in partnership with the Committee for the promotion of international trade of XUAR made it possible for our national manufacturers to introduce their products directly to the potential buyers, to hold negotiations, to find partners, and to explore the market, to learn the possibilities and conditions of doing business in the country. In turn, Chinese participants of the forum got acquainted with the products of such companies as JSC Concern Tsesna-Astyk, Yegin LLP, Firm Dikanshy LLP, Maslodel LLP, Peasant Farm Karzhau, and RG Brands Kazakhstan LLP.
Since 2009, total amount of contracts for the supply of goods produced in Kazakhstan in neighbouring countries that were concluded following the results of trade missions exceeded 65 million USD.
In 2013, foreign trade turnover between Kazakhstan and China amounted to 22.5 billion USD, which is by 4% more than in 2012. The Chinese market represents a huge potential for the expansion of exports of Kazakhstani goods and is the second largest sales market for Kazakhstan’s export with a share of 17%.
