Almaty hosted the Conference on April 15-16, 2015 with the support of the Kazakhstan Association of Insurers. Participation in this event has become a tradition for executives of insurance and reinsurance businesses in Central Asia, Common Economic Area, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Among today’s problems, participants were offered to discuss issues related to state regulation and Kazakhstan insurance market development trends, restructuring of local insurance market in response to global economic and political challenges, implications of statutory regulation of insurance business in the Russian Federation, key vectors of integration processes in the insurance sector in the Common Economic Area. The attendees also discussed the potential introduction of mandatory health insurance in the country in line with the best international practices.
The Conference’s audience included leading local and international insurance companies, reinsurers, brokers, IT companies, representatives and executives of regulatory bodies from Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, and delegates from national and international associations and ranking agencies, international health insurance experts, representatives of medical assistances and chiefs of staff of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
