«KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock company Insurance Company Participates in Trade Mission to Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan
On August 25, 2015, the National Agency for Export and Investments “Kaznex Invest” of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministry of Investments and Development arranged a trade mission to Ashkhabad to give impulse to exports of Kazakh goods and services to foreign markets in joint effort with the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
27 companies representing a variety of industries including engineering, chemical, construction, pharmaceutical, food and metallurgy industries attended the event. Participants discussed goods delivery opportunities with Turkmen buying agents and distributors.
At bilateral meetings with representatives of the host country, «KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock companyteam dwelled on the advantages of export credit support provided to consumers of Kazakhstan-made goods. Export and import opportunities along with other foreign economic cooperation issues were also considered and discussed.

The trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan has been steadily growing since 2010. In 2014, the turnover rate reached the point of USD 475 millions, a 20.9% increase from 2013.
