Conference with the export-oriented companies of South Kazakhstan Region
Yesterday, on March 2, a meeting of more than 60 regional exporters and companies, who are preparing to enter external markets, was held in the Conference Hall of the Service Centre for Entrepreneurs of the South Kazakhstan Region. The representatives of the Export insurance company “KazakhExport” JSC, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC also participated in the meeting.
Such event organized by the National Agency for Export and Investments «KAZNEX INVEST» JSC in association with the Department for Entrepreneurship, Industrial & Innovative Development and Tourism of the South Kazakhstan Region is held on a regular basis in a view of raising awareness on the production sector and to discuss joint plans for 2016, and it also contributes to expand the number of recipients of the state aid for export development.
In 2014, exports from the South Kazakhstan Region were USD 2,3 bln., and USD 2 bln. - to the other countries. Food products, chemical products and textiles prevail in the processed export structure of the Region.
In 2010-2015, under the service support to exporters, KAZNEX INVEST JSC provided support for promotion of 133 exporters of the South Kazakhstan Region. With the assistance of KAZNEX INVEST JSC, manufacturing enterprises of the South Kazakhstan entered into export contracts in the amount of more than USD 140 mln.
Last year, 50 companies of the Region were represented in 7 trade missions, 37 foreign exhibitions, 13 presentations of trademarks and 5 national exhibition stands.
Besides, from 2010 to 2015, 55 companies of the South Kazakhstan Region received compensation for export expenses via KAZNEX INVEST JSC in the amount of KZT 146 mln.
In 2016, KAZNEX INVEST JSC plans to carry out 10 trade missions to all countries of Central Asia, the cross-border regions of the Russian Federation, Latvia, UAE, Iran, Afghanistan, P.R.C.; and to cover expenses for organization and participation of 40 companies in foreign specialized exhibitions.
