Due to the support of KazakhExport, the domestic producer of dairy products will be able to increase export volumes abroad
Moldproduct LLP (being a part of the Agroproduct Group of Companies), the largest domestic dairy producer, will be able to increase export volumes abroad due to the support of KazakhExport. The “Loan Insurance” tool allowed the producers to obtain a loan of KZT 2 bln. from the Eurasian Bank, of which KZT 1,8 bln. was insured by the Export Insurance Company.
“The said tool is very convenient for exporters and, in particular, for our company. The loan insurance from KazakhExport affords an opportunity to obtain the financing from second-tier banks if the collateral base is insufficient or not available. We expect to increase the company’s export potential through the said tool, which will allow the company to diversify sales markets and to increase the overall production”, - said Kaissar Tokeyev, the financial analyst of the Agroproduct Group of Companies.
Moldproduct produces dairy products under the well-known brands of “Zorkin Lug”, “Mumunya”, “Nashe” and “Odari”. Its products have been exported to the Russian Federation during many years, and deliveries to the People’s Republic of China are planned. There is a demand from Russian buyers for milk, kefir as well as other dairy products of Moldproduct LLP. And the Chinese partners have interest in yoghurts, drinks and other products.
The milk producer plans to increase a volume of exported products up to 27 ths. tons per year, using the “pre-export financing” tool.
“Currently, a project of financing a pre-export operation to the amount of KZT 2 bln. under the KazakhExport’s insurance is being under consideration of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC”, Kaissar Tokeyev emphasized.
