«KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock company Participates in Meeting of Advisory Committee on Financial Markets

The meeting was held in Yerevan on April 4, 2015, and was attended by members of the Advisory Committee from government agencies and business community from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, and employees of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The meeting focused on discussion of the status of work on agreements on requirements to performance in financial markets and plan for harmonization of finance legislation of member states of the Common Economic Area, and elaboration of a draft agreement on mutual admission of brokers and dealers of the CEA member states to the national stock exchanges.

Participants were also presented with Protocol on Accession of the Republic of Armenia’s Government and Central Bank to the Agreement on Exchange of Information in Financial Sector in order to enable financial markets to ensure free movement of capital.

Attendees also reviewed preliminary outcomes of work performed by the Task Force on definition of a concerted position on the feasibility of development of a new liability car insurance product in of the Eurasian Economic Union’s member states, as well as perspectives and opportunities of the reinsurance capacity of the member states. Besides, participants discussed results of efforts on currency regulation and currency control in the EEU undertaken by the authorized commission for financial markets.

Established on February 2, 2012, Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) is a permanent supranational regulatory body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The EEC currently comprises representatives of the following countries: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. The Commission’s decisions are binding on all EEU member states.
