«KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock company Votes on the Place of Permanent Establishment of Aman Union
On August 2, 2015, 13 of 18 existing members of Aman Union, including «KazakhExport» Export insurance company» joint-stock companycast their votes online. This resulted in 61% of votes in favor of Maksat, Oman. Besides Maksat, the candidates for becoming the capital of the union included Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur and Beirut.
Aman Union is an association of the largest export credit agencies from Islamic countries and the Arab world. It was established on October 28, 2009 according to the agreement between the Investment & Export Credit Guarantee Company (DHAMAN) and Islamic Corp for the Insurance of Investment & Export Credit (ICIEC), whereunder the parties agreed to join their efforts in creation of a professional forum assembling commercial and non-commercial risks of insurers and reinsurers in respective member countries.
