Within the framework of past XIII Interregional Cooperation Forum of Kazakhstan and Russia in Astana were signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of promoting and supporting exports with JSC "Russian Export Center" and the Eurasian Development Bank

From Kazakhstani side the document was signed by Chairman of the Board of JSC “NMH “Baiterek” Yerbolat Dossayev, and from the Russian side - Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank, Dmitry Pankin.

Under the Agreement, JSC “Export insurance company “KazakhExport” (a subsidiary of the Holding Company “Baterek”) and the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will jointly support Kazakhstani exporters by means of export risk insurance of goods, works and services within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and beyond. For this purpose, the EDB allocates about 100 million US dollars to finance the export of Kazakhstani producers.

“The potential for cooperation is huge. Today, new opportunities are opening related to export support, promotion on the markets of each other, the creation of joint ventures. It is time to implement new approaches, special products, and mutual credit lines. Holding “Baiterek” is ready to provide any support”, - said the head of the Holding “Baiterek” Yerbolat Dossayev.

Also, the head of the Holding "Baiterek", Yerrbolat Dossayev and General Director of the Russian export center Petr Fradkov signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation.

Within the framework of the memorandum the parties identified priority industrial sectors for the development of which the mutual efforts will be: production of food, agricultural chemistry, manufacture of motor vehicles and spare parts, agricultural machinery and equipment for the mining, oil and petrochemical industry, production of construction materials, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy.
